PLEASE NOTE: Safety protocol measures will be in place during this year's Christmas Connection to keep our social workers, volunteers, donors, and the families we serve safe. Make sure to carefully read the website for changes affecting types and condition of donated items, volunteer opportunities, and drop-off procedures. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

All donated items MUST BE NEW (toys, teen gifts, blankets, and food), and we are not accepting any clothing, linens, housewares, or bicycles.

Thanks for your support
of Christmas Connection!

Because of COVID-19, we are taking extra precautions to keep our volunteers and the families we serve safe. Masks and health screenings will be required of all volunteers. This year, volunteer opportunities to work at the site are very limited. You MUST pre-register to volunteer, and may do so by selecting a day/time through the sign-up form below. If you are unable to secure a volunteer slot, please consider helping by organizing a collection drive with your friends and neighbors. All volunteers must submit a signed Volunteer Liability Release form. (*see link below) Prior to signing up to volunteer, please review these volunteer guidelines:

  • If you are unable to fill your scheduled volunteer shift, let us know as soon as possible at 850.665.3852.
  • All volunteers will be required to wear a mask, answer health screening questions, and maintain social distancing.
  • Please do not come to the site if you are not feeling well or have been exposed to someone who is ill.
  • Christmas Connection is an active warehouse environment and not appropriate for babies, toddlers, or young children.
  • Youth volunteers between the ages of 12-18 must be registered and accompanied by a parent or guardian who is also registered. A signed liability release form found at the link below will also have to be submitted.
  • Lunches will not be provided this year. You are welcome to bring a lunch (refrigerator will be available) or take a lunch break away from the site at any time.
  • We are closed for Thanksgiving Holidays November 25-28, 2020.

  • OUR GREATEST NEED: ORGANIZING A TOY, FOOD, OR BLANKET DRIVE. Coordinate a collection drive with your neighborhood, office, gym, or book club, and deliver the items collected to the Christmas Connection site by December 10, 2020. It's a fun and easy way to help bring the Christmas spirit to others. Click the link to register for your own collection drive.

  • PICKING UP DONATIONS. We frequently need people who can pick up donations or make deliveries for us. If you have a truck and are interested in being on our Truck List, follow the link below. The form will allow you to choose days and times that are most convenient for you.

  • YOUTH DAY. Because of the pandemic, we will be unable to support a Youth Day at Christmas Connection this year. However, if you are a high school junior/senior who is in need of community service hours, you can still help out and receive hours by volunteering to organize a collection drive in your school, neighborhood, club, or place of employment. To register for a collection drive, click the link above, and someone will be in touch to help you get started.

  • VOLUNTEERS AGES 12-18. Any youth volunteers ages 12-18 MUST pre-register through the volunteer sign-up link above and MUST be accompanied by a parent or guardian who is also registered. In addition, both must submit a signed Volunteer Liability Release. Children under the age of 12 will not be permitted to volunteer. (*see link above)

  • GROUP VOLUNTEERS. Christmas Connection will not be able to support group volunteers this year as a result of the pandemic and the need for social distancing. Groups who are interested in supporting Christmas Connection are encouraged to organize a blanket, food, or toy collection drive in lieu of volunteering on the site. (*see link above)
